Solid Waste

The City of Lyons contracts with Waste Connections for solid waste collection. 

Cart Collection is every Friday and yard containers are every Wednesday.

HOLIDAYS: Waste Connections observes the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, therefore, your pick up will be the day after your regularly scheduled

If you have brush, furniture, or large items that do not fit in the toter to dispose of, you need to contact customer service at 800-279-7511 within two days of regular pick up to schedule a special pick

Additional 96 Gallon Cart                 $6.21 per month

1.5-yard Container                            $56.93 per month

2-yard Container                               $67.28 per month

4-yard Container                                $87.98 per month
